Australian Native Taxonomy Tea Towel

$65.00

Limited edition of 200.

An important aspect of Sarah’s practice is to arrange and document her collections of native seedpods and florets into formal flat lay panels. These arrangements inform her sculptural arts practice and distil the acts of walking, observing and collecting. They capture the relationships between various families of plants and highlight the incredible diversity of Australian native flora.

Many of these plant species are found within my local area, Gubbi Gubbi country and I would like to acknowledge the Jinibara people as traditional owners and custodians of the place I live and work, and pay my respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.

100% off-white linen. Tea towel made and printed in Brisbane, Australia.

Each tea towel package is signed and editioned by Sarah. Packaging printed in Brisbane, Australia.

Click here for plant species information. QR code link to plant species included on packaging.

Tea towel can be stretched and framed as a wall hanging. See images for example with oak frame.
